Democrats Can Be Conservative, Moderate or Liberal

I get so frustrated when I continually hear democrats referred to as liberals. The terms liberal and conservative can be applied to people of both parties. We have allowed the republicans to tag us with this label in order to make it appear as though the republicans party is the only place for "God Fearing" conservatives. The issues that define republicans and democrats are not religion, abortion and guns. The real issues are: Jobs, Education, Health Care, Clean Environment, Safety and Security and Honest Responsible Government. Of course there are republicans that value these things too but the difference for democrats is that we make these issues priorities. Their priorities are tax cuts, a bigger military, supporting business and controlling entitlements. Again we believe in these things too but it's a matter of priorities. Jeff
